I've worked on the web since it's been possible, typically for start-ups, agencies, and new product groups where everyone wears a lot of hats. Nearly every role has been a hybrid of UX / visual design, content strategy, and marketing. I love clean, artful, scalable information design that makes it easy for people to do what they want to do. (And what you want them to do.) I'm a strong team lead, mentor, and an exceptional verbal and visual communicator.
Lead and Senior UX Designer at Amazon.com for over 5 years, currently on sabbatical. Design lead for major upcoming Amazon Fashion launch in 2017. Formerly lead designer for AmazonFresh standalone site and 2016 launch on Amazon.com. I've worked on the web since it's been possible — for start-ups, agencies, and new product groups where everyone wears a lot of hats: UX and visual design, user research/testing, content strategy, and marketing. Clean and scalable product design is my passion, informed by real live customers and data. I'm a strong team lead, mentor, and an exceptional verbal and visual communicator.
I’m currently on sabbatical, focused on photography and traveling the world before my next professional adventure in 2017.
Lead designer for migration of AmazonFresh.com to Amazon.com. I created the proof-of-concept designs that led to the project being approved by Jeff Bezos, and is one of the largest cross-company projects in Amazon history.
In June 2013, AmazonFresh launched outside of its original pilot area. I led the rebranding, including art direction of marketing and photography, creating the new logo, copywriting, and overseeing design of delivery trucks and tote bags.
